Bowling Buddies
JA members, with leadership from Coach Sank Powe, have been bowling with some children from the local schools. This has been such a fun activity for us on Saturday mornings with these children and will continue for a few more Saturdays in March. The excitement just erupts through the bowling alley when they manage to knock down the pins or get a strike! Their faces are all smiles…..

Special Education (SPED) Project
To help us with the Children’s Benefit Ball, the SPED children made ornaments and artwork for the silent auction. The young children learned about the colors and designs of peacock feathers. Following the activity, we celebrated Mardi Gras with them by wearing colorful beads and eating the King’s cake. The children, JA members, and teachers had lots of fun!

Hmmm good!

Also, congratulations to Jimmy Williams and Lucy Janoush, our 2010 Children’s Benefit Ball King and Queen.
